Over the past several months, we have been inundated with resources for teaching music virtually, but few of them allow teachers to hear their students daily. Highlighting some low-cost, user-friendly platforms, Rogers will explore plausible virtual solutions for secondary music classrooms. These approaches are flexible and can be implemented in a variety of in-person, virtual, and hybrid instruction models.

About Ryan
Ryan graduated summa cum laude from the University of Houston Moores School of Music in May 2018, majoring in Piano Performance and Choral Music Education, where he served as Director of Floreat, Student Director, and Tenor Section Leader under Drs. Betsy Cook Weber and Jeb Mueller. After completing his undergraduate, he served as an Assistant Choir Director at North Shore High School, where he directed seven choirs, including the North Shore Senior High Chamber Choir and the show choir, Perfect Harmony. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he began editing audio for virtual performances, assembling in excess of two hundred hymns, anthems, and songs for various universities, schools, churches, and organizations throughout the country. Currently, Ryan is pursuing a Masters of Music in Choral Conducting at the Yale Institute of Sacred Music.
